About Salt & Earth Psychology
At Salt & Earth Psychology, we believe healing happens when you feel seen, understood, and supported. Our practice is in bayside Elwood, where saltwater meets sand. Like the natural world, therapy invites us to slow down, notice, and make sense of the experiences that shape our daily lives.
Why Salt & Earth
The name Salt & Earth reflects our approach. Salt brings clarity and a sense of renewal. Like sodium in the brain, it carries messages that help the mind communicate, think, and respond brings clarity and fresh perspective. Earth represents grounding, stability, and connection. Like smooth rocks or warm sand under your feet, therapy can support you in reconnecting with yourself.
Exploring a rockpool reveals life you might not have noticed before. Therapy works in a similar way. It allows you to notice the present, understand the past, and may reveal new ways to respond to your experiences. At Salt & Earth Psychology, we guide this process with care, curiosity, and practical support
Who We Are
Kellie Dundon, Psychologist, leads Salt & Earth Psychology. Before becoming a psychologist, Kellie held leadership and client-facing roles across management consulting, the not-for-profit sector, public services, and corporate training. These experiences shaped her practical, client-focused approach. She brings warmth, curiosity, and collaboration to her sessions.
Kellie works with individuals and couples. She helps with:
Anxiety, stress, and burnout
Trauma and post-traumatic experiences
Relationship challenges and dating difficulties
Life transitions and work stress
Emotional regulation and self-compassion
She also provides support for sexual health and intimacy, helping clients explore desire and connection in a safe way.
How We Work
Therapy here is a partnership. We create a safe, non-judgmental space. You can explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your pace. We help you notice patterns, understand triggers, and build strategies that work in real life.
We value the “uh-huh” moments when you find a way to see things differently. We also value quiet reflection, when new insight takes hold. Therapy can help clients live with more clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.
Our approach focuses on three key ideas:
Collaboration – You are the expert in your life. We guide, listen, and explore together.
Evidence-Based – We use proven methods, including EMDR, CBT, and trauma-informed care.
Practical & Empowering – We teach strategies you can use beyond the session.
